Long time Stage Manager, Show Producer, and Writer Lesley-Ann Wanliss was on hand to help us set up for Wax Therapy on Jan 22 and by the time the night was done, she had only a glowing report to give. See Below.
Beatlogique’s David Kennedy, renowned engineer and producer hosted Wax Therapy, a night of music free from the fuzz of the digital era. His invitation promised “Wax Therapy is not an"oldies" session...we will support any music genre past or present just as long as its on vinyl”, but I wonder if he had any idea that the vibes would have been so right?
The musically inclined and those inclined towards a good time drove up the hill to David’s rustic pad, finding shelter inside when the rain clouds dripped its blessings on the event. The night held true to its promise as the DJs, Roger Williams and Luna, spun vinyl sounds into the night air rocking patrons who had found comfort in their glass of liquor, fish soup or a plate of roasted fish while they lymed and rocked easy overlooking the bright lights of Kingston city. The musical selections inspired the intimate group of patrons to shout for pull ups as the music trumped through the air. A truly mystical occasion.
There was no better way to usher in the new year than at WAX THERAPY a hill top vibes to satiate you with a great selection of music, the taste of well prepared fish dishes and a vibration that was nothing less than mystical.

Kuda_Kwashe wrote 457 Days Ago (neutral) 0lol, music was good. But i wonder why no one else brought liquor, wasn't this supposed to be a "bring a bottle" event? Some people ended up fighting for the liquor they brought. soup was late and roast fish short. Big ups to Cherie who im sure assisted in the evidently impromtu organization of this event.
